Energy Research and Development Award

This award recognizes outstanding R&D achievement in the field of energy technology in B.C. A broad spectrum of potential energy technologies are eligible for this award, including those related to energy extraction, conversion, transportation, and utilization. Evaluative criteria include

  • The degree of innovation
  • Commercial market potential
  • British Columbia content
  • Environmental benefits
  • Indirect benefits ( such as productivity increases and product quality improvement)
